1单词和词组

2拆分句子

标点符号：, . ! : — 等

连接词：and, but, or, that, which......

a.标点符号拆分：

#大家会发现，哇塞！一个标点都没有，句子怎么还这么长？

其实不用太着急，大家把句子的结构分析清楚，介词划分出来，从句知道从哪到哪就可以啦，然后再逐步翻译，问题迎刃而解。

b.连接词拆分：

在“college

officials tend to emphasize that …”中，引导词“that”在动词“emphasize”后面，故此处是“动宾-宾语从句”（到最后），可以拆分。

在上面的宾语从句中，“and”后面是“more about …”，由于连接词连接的需要是相同的词性和时态，故“less about …”和“more about …”是平行结构。

接着，“to retake courses critical to …”中，“critical to …”为后置定语，修饰“courses”，相当于省略了“which are”。

宾语从句：
